Just like your local Chinese takeaway. Without the msg 😛
I prefer Fry’s soy strips but you can use whatever protein you want.
Throw the frozen strips into hot oil (I mean hot), let them crisp and brown.
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 cloves of garlic
1 tsp ginger powder
1/4 cup water
2 chillis (finely diced)
Stir occasionally on high heat till completely reduced.
Then let it sizzle for a couple minutes. This will ensure there is a gloss on the glaze and bring out any extra sugar 🙂
Serve with rice and your favorite greens. As always we have broccoli!
