Tomato hummus that takes 5 min and the hippies will love

1 can of chickpeas drained.  Don’t forget to save that juice!!!

1 can of tomatoes.  Drain this too, can tomato juice = acid, yuck

olive oil start with 2 tsp.  add more as needed

salt and pepper

1 tsp oregano

2 tsp garlic powder

Add everything to the processor.  I use my nutribullet, you should buy one…

Blitz.  If it is too dry and not blending add a little more oil.  Remember you can always add more but you can’t undo.  So keep it small amounts.

Done.  This is so easy and tasty.  The only preservative is salt so bear in mind it won’t last more than a few days in the fridge.
